Incident Alert: Mutual Aid Response with Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department

On Thursday, August 8, 2019, your Cypress Creek Fire Department assisted the Cy-Fair VFD on a Mutual Aid assignment for a Garage Fire threatening a Structure. Engine 22 and Tanker 22 responded immediately to the home. Upon arrival, the garage was fully-involved threatening the entire house, which was in close proximity. Crews made an aggressive, fast-attack and managed to safeguard the residence and minimize damages to only the garage. A rapid response and joint effort with the Cy-Fair Fire Department ensured that there were no injuries to residents or fire personnel. All units returned to service and continued to protect the community of Cypress Creek/ESD 13 without any disruption of service.
